I honestly slauhter recommend listening to it at all, and I certainly wouldn’t recommend using a precious Audible credit on it. I also would like to say how much I thi 5 stars! Item s unavailable for purchase. One thing that surprised was some of the prejudices the author brings up into this novel. You can help Wikipedia by expanding it.
However, readers will probably be happy to see that Detective Lena Adams, arguably the most mysterious and engaging character in lsaughter series, gets more page time and a bit of resolution in Faithless. Quite a few GR friends are reading her thrillers so when I saw this audio book at the library I grabbed it on a whim. The small town settings are vividly written – I would feel the menace and danger swirling around!!! What lay beneath was heartbreaking, leading them into an investigation of a family who seems to have plenty of secrets.
This book centered around a sort of church cult and it makes you wonder about the non-fiction churches out there. The title should be at least 4 characters long.
On the one hand, Faithless is not my favorite in the series in terms of crimes and police procedure. I’m always hooked from the start and intrigued by the different characters. Karin Slaughter insists on giving Lena a place in this story and adding more and more situations to make kzrin hate Lena. It amazes me how she weaves the story.
Not many authors can change my mind when I’ve decided a character is the pits. What made you choose to highlight this in Faithless? For them, a harrowing journey begins, one that will test their own turbulent relationship and draw dozens of life into the case. The only serious downside to me in this particular book salughter that the narrator was changed for the audio book.

Like any good crime novelist, she has clearly done her homework on both setting and investigative details. Predictably, Sara is upset. I love this series, this book was just a bit off for me. Do you have any plans or intent to feature her more prominently in a future work? But as Sara embarks on the autopsy, something even more horrifying comes to light. You have had a great deal of international success slaughtee your Grant County series congratulations on being 1 in London and Ireland!
This is the first I’ve read of any Karin Slaughter books. I love that they are not the perfect couple. This series should be read in book order: Off to review the last in the series!! Karkn more digging, they find a box and the remains of a young woman. Jeffrey, Sara and Lena will all be thrown into nightmare when they discover the body of young Abby Ward buried in a box in the woods. Another thing that I would like to note is how close Nan and Lena have become.

I’m still so “stunned” by the last few scenes that all I can say is Please email webmaster fantasticfiction. The characters and intricate plot are fabulous, making for an exciting read that will keep the pages turning! Sheriff Jeffrey Tolliver is still trying to woo back his ex-wife, Sara Linton, a pediatrician and the medical examiner for Grant County.
Once they have identified the woman, the case is just gets started. Hopefully things will look up in the next book. Random House AudioBooks Availability: I feel like Sara and Jeffrey can breathe a little bit in their relationship. It really pulls slaughtsr in and keeps me coming back to her books.
The balance is getting easier as I write more books. Sometimes you root for her and sometimes you want to slap her upside the head. Please review your cart. This one had me in tears near the end.
