A friend of mine once criticised George Orwell as too journalistic.

My fzordz in Wiki also mentions that inOrwell wrote a long essay entitled “Anti-Semitism in Britain” where he mentioned that anti-Semitism was on the increase in Britain. Who is today’s George Orwell? His other books are so right in your face and riveting. I wouldn’t think anyone would regret reading this novel, but I wouldn’t recommended it to just anyone unless you are an Orwell fan or are interested in the subject matter.
